The Harlan Community Music Boosters are proud to bring you Willie Murillo!
Willie is a nationally known songwriter, professional musician and educator.
Mr. Murillo has graciously offered to come to Harlan Community for an educational clinic and master class with students in the jazz program.
Tuesday, January 31st agenda:
7-9 am - Workshop with the MS Jazz Bands
9-11 am - Master class with Willie (open to neighboring school jazz programs)
11-12 pm - Lunch for students & band teachers
1-2 pm - Workshop with HS Jazz Ensemble
2-3:30 pm - Workshop with HS Jazz Experience
*Dinner Break - Students will go home to eat and change*
5:30-7 pm - Career Workshop / Parent Interactive Discussion (open to the public)
7:30-9 pm - Concert performance by the Harlan Jazz Experience featuring Willie Murillo
Career workshop will bein HS commons, and concert will take place in the Harlan High School Auditorium.
The concert is free will donation.
